Description
The panorama cross-country trail starts at the Berghaus Schwänzelegg on the Danusa plateau at an elevation of 1800 meters. It can easily be reached by gondola. The 360° view strays from the Vilan to the Schesaplana, the highest peak of the Rätikon chain with an elevation of 2965 meters, to Klosters and the Weissfluhgipfel. The Tektonikarena Sardona and Piz Sardona can be seen beyond the Calanda, which is Chur’s trademark. The Rhine valley lies to the west and the majestic sides of the Churfirsten tower above the Walensee.
The run on the extensive panorama loop on this beautiful snowy plateau can be shortened, depending on mood, motivation and time. The panorama cross-country trail is suitable for more experienced skiers. It offers very nice descents and a fascinating panoramic view of the winter scenery.
