Furna Güfer winter hiking trail

The winter hiking trail Güfer is located in the mostly ascending terrain between Furna village and the Furnerberg (Danusa area). The approx. 400 meters difference in altitude between Furna and the Güfer require some stamina, but can be mastered without problems with enough time reserves. 

Rest stops are offered on the bench on the "Rüäfä" with a view over the Prättigau to Klosters, at the idyllic "Heitengaden", where there is absolute silence or on the "Güfer" with a view of the Rätikon Mountains.

On a weekend evening on the "Rüäfä", enjoy the view of the chain of lights of the cars driving through Prättigau. So the traffic jam also has its beautiful side.

In the village center you will follow 50 meters behind the village shop the signpost Winterwanderweg about 1 km upwards until the cleared road ends on the "Jagmer". From there, you walk along the groomed hiking trail, first outdoors, then in wooded terrain. About 100 meters after the «Heitengaden» (small stable on the wayside, see picture) follows a fork in the road. Take the left path and follow it to the "Güfer". There you turn right and walk downhill to the "Hof". Turn right again and follow the path back to the fork in the road at «Heitengaden». From there it goes now on the ascent path back to the village.
