Note for summer 2025: Due to the renovation work in the Carschinahütte SAC, no overnight stays are currently possible there.
Well-developed and popular high-altitude trail with ever-changing views of the Prättigau region. The path first leads leisurely past the Three Towers and the mighty Drusenfluh. Then the long-distance hike leads a little downhill to a spring below the Schweizertor. Along the Kirchlispitzen, the path climbs up again. On the Cavelljoch you stand directly on the Austrian border and enjoy a beautiful view of the Lünersee. At the end of this stage, a path leads via Golrosa to the Fadurer Fürggli and then hilly through the eastern flank of the Sassauna to the Eggli. Here you will find the cosy Sassauna mountain restaurant. The Fanas cable car will then take you back down to the valley.
