"One of the most brilliant organists of his generation," says the press about Benjamin Righetti, who works in Lausanne as titular organist of the Saint-François church and teaches at the local conservatory of music (HEMU). The concert weekend presents both the brilliant soloist and the charismatic teacher. In his recital on 12 September, Righetti devotes himself entirely to the Bach cosmos: from the simple, inward-looking chorale arrangement of "Vater unser im Himmelreich" BWV 682 to the magnificent, extroverted Concerto in D minor after Antonio Vivaldi BWV 596.

On the following day, you can experience a master class for students with free admission and thus get an exciting look behind the scenes. Questions of the correct registration of the Goll organ, the stylistically appropriate interpretation or even technical finesse will play a role in the lessons.
