Solar Sauna - Lytefire Sauna

The solar sauna of the Heuberge is the result of innovative minds who brooded over ideas together in the 2020 winter season.

It uses Lytefire technology, which is very cost-effective: it uses mirrors to concentrate sunlight into a focal point where high temperatures are reached. The light enters the interior of the sauna through a window, where it hits the sauna stone and creates steam and heat.
This technology achieves usual sauna temperatures between 60 °C and 100 °C. The temperature can be regulated by the focus of sunlight and the amount of steam. This new technology is not only sustainable, but also robust: storms, snow or wind on the hay mountains do not affect the Lytefire sauna.

It offers space for up to six people and is located in front of the Arflina mountain house.
